IMVU SCAM WARNING - PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING NEW "COUPON CREDITS" SCAM 2016

I just logged onto IMVU a few minutes ago and got this message telling me I won credits or something. Upon further inspection I found it to be fake and immediately flagged the users account. Please be vigilant and dont get your avi hacked or hijacked BE CAREFUL OF THESE SCAMS! THEY WANT YOUR CREDITS!



The message I received is as follows:

Now what set alarm bells off in my head is that IMVU never asks you to log into anywhere else other than the normal IMVU site. So I looked further into the issue by examining the users profile card adn this is what I found:

this is definitely not what an IMVU staff account looks like, now fortunately for me the message I recieved prior to this one was an actualy IMVU staff message so immediately I compared the 2 and here's an example of what a proper IMVU staff profile card looks like below:

Note that on the top by the grey area of the card theres almost a watermark which says IMVU staff. Also you will see on the top of the card you will see the following badges, AP, VIP and IMVU staff wereas the scammers one neither has the watermark nor the IMVU staff badge.

Lastly have a look at the way messages from IMVU are displayed in the inbox as opposed to the fake ones, IMVU messages don't say "PRIVATE"! See example below:
